1985年愛知県生まれ。高知県香美市にて作陶。父である陶芸家・小野哲平氏の元で、ものづくりの姿を見て育つ。独立後は、自ら山で土を掘り、釉薬の原料も一から作るうつわ作りを実践。力強くエネルギーに満ちたオリジナル性の高いうつわはファッションや音楽など垣根を超えた多くの表現者に支持されている。
Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1985. Ono is a ceramic artist based in Kami City, Kochi Prefecture. Growing up alongside his father, ceramic artist Teppei Ono, he was immersed in the process of making from an early age.
After becoming independent, he developed a practice rooted deeply in the materials themselves, digging his own clay from the mountains and producing glaze materials from scratch. His powerful, highly distinctive vessels are charged with a raw sense of energy and have gained support from creators across disciplines, including fashion, music, art, and design.
